Become a verified project

Players can already find your server in the directory. Verification also shows that the account owner has proved control of this project.

Once project ownership is verified, a clear badge appears on its page. It is not a guarantee of quality, safety or player count.

Clear ownership

Players can distinguish an owner-managed listing from an unverified one. Verification must be repeated if ownership changes.

Ready for what comes next

Verified projects may qualify for a future credit programme. It has not launched, so verification does not currently award credits or free services.

How does verification work?

  1. Sign in, verify your email address and add your project to the directory.
  2. Complete the application and choose where to publish a unique verification code: your server MOTD, project website or a DNS TXT record.
  3. Publish the code. An administrator will check it at the specified location and record a decision.
  4. After approval, a badge appears on the project page. Credit features will only launch after a separate announcement.
